Christmas Box
This year Connect Church in Kapiti and Tawa are taking part in a nationwide initiative called Christmas Box. This is happening on Saturday, the 29th of November at both our campus's! This year, we aim to produce and distribute 1000 Christmas Boxes over Kapiti and Tawa, 500 boxes at each campus location. With each box expected to support around 5 people, our goal is to reach approximately 5000 individuals this Christmas, providing both help and hope to local families during this holiday season. Check out the details below and how you can help.

Christmas Box has been created out of a desire to see struggling families experience some joy over the holiday season with their loved ones. Each box that we put together is designed to feed a family of 4-6 people, providing enough food to help supplement meals for a week, including products for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are going to provide these boxes to some of the most vulnerable whānau in our communities with the intention of providing some relief over what we know can be a very stressful time.

We have 1000 boxes to give out between Kapiti and Tawa. Each box has a retail value of around $70, we are asking for donations of $40 per box to help contribute toward the overall cost, but you can also donate as much as you feel called to give. Any donation will be hugely appreciated and help make a difference in the lives of those in need in our community!
You can donate online by clicking on the box below. Please select 'Christmas Box' from the drop down menu. Or you can donate directly into the Connect Church bank account 02-0733-0127359-000 Ref: Christmas Box
Any donation received will be included in your end of year donation receipt.

On Saturday the 29th of November, from 9am to 12pm, we will be packing the Christmas Boxes at both our Connect Kapiti and Connect Tawa campuses. We need a team of people, both men and women, in both places to ensure this packing runs smoothly and productively! This is a great opportunity to be part of the whole process and really see how much of an impact these boxes are going to have on our communities.
